Portland Trip Bucket List!

In a little bit over a week I will be touching down in Portland for almost a week of enjoying the city I love so much.  I’ll also spend two days down in Eugene for my brother’s college graduation (GO DUCKS!). I cannot wait!

The trip will give be a great time to catch up with family and friends and hit up my favorite restaurants and sights if I plan my time right. Below is my Bucket List for my Portland trip as it stands right now. I’d love comments with suggestions on what else to see again/do for the first time (since I haven’t lived in Portland for six years (minus summers in college) which is crazy to think about!

Portland BUCKET LIST:

-Forest Park, Pittock Mansion, and Washington Park

-Powell’s Bookstore

-Just spend time in the Pearl and on 23rd Ave

-Take a drive through the West Hills and by my alma matter Lincoln HS!

-Skyline Burger (my favorite since childhood)

-Northwest Public House (a new favorite but it has so many delicious gluten-free options)

-Sellwood Pizza Kitchen (favorite gluten-free pizza anywhere!)

-Go to a restaurant I’ve never been to as part of Downtown Portland dining month

-Check out Crave Bakery in Lake Oswego (they won Cupcake Wars and I’ve been meaning to check it out!)

Growing up in Portland I’ve seen a lot of what it has to offer and love my hometown so these are what are on my Bucket List to see in my short time (although there are a lot of other places I enjoy). I’d love to also get back to the Columbia River Gorge, but I’m not sure if I have the time for that. I’d also love to see a Timbers game and go to First Thursday but I won’t be visiting at the right time.

If you have any other suggestions of especially newer must-see-sights/restaurants to add comment below!
