CLOSED: Miami’s Riverside Sports Bar- Finnegan’s River (Brickell)

Unfortunately Finnegan’s River is now closed. The property was sold and is going to be replaced with a high-rise along the river (happening a lot now in Miami)….

We started outside near the pool to enjoy the last bits of sun but since the TVs are next to all the actual bars we went inside to the restaurant to order food and drink. Inside there are TVs lining all the walls and overhead the bar so there are plenty of TVs to watch and they’re pretty nice about switching a few to games you want to watch. My friends got some oysters and plantain chips to start off, while I got some chili and chips. My friend and I then got burgers, while my other friend got chicken strips. All typical bar food.

Finnegan’s is a good sports bar to watch games with a nice waterfront location on the river. If you’re looking for a bit of a change over a typical sports bar it’s right on the water with a pool and outdoor bar. It reminds me a bit of Dante’s in Key West. If you’re looking for a waterside bar, especially if you want to watch sports then check on Finnegan’s River just outside of Brickell on the Miami River.
